JoAnn Campbell Frizzell
JoAnn Campbell Frizzell, 86, of Hixson, passed away on Tuesday, August 9, 2022.
JoAnn was a founding member of Dallas Bay Church and loved to travel, went to the Holy Land several times and was baptized in the Jordan River. She loved her family, watching grand and great grandchildren play sports. She was a hairdresser, business owner of tanning salon, video stores and resale shops. JoAnn loved flowers, plants, animals, working in the yard and word search. She enjoyed watching Wheel of Fortune and her favorite soap operas. She loved to shop and helped her husband Robert with his construction company.
JoAnn was preceded in death by her husband of 51 years, Robert T. Frizzell; and her parents, George and Willie Mae Campbell.
JoAnn is survived by her sons, Tommy (Marjorie) Frizzell and Marty (Cara) Frizzell; daughter, Joy (Gary) Hicks; nine grandchildren; 15 great-grandchildren.
The family will receive friends from 4-8 p.m. on Friday, Aug. 12, and 10-11 a.m. on Saturday at the North Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home.
A Celebration of JoAnn’s Life will follow at 11 a.m. on Saturday at the North Chapel with Britt Watson officiating. Burial will be in Hamilton Memorial Gardens.
