Lois Ann Putman, 81, of Harrison, passed away on Thursday, August 11, 2022.

 

Lois was a native of Chattanooga, born on October 5, 1940 (although for many years, she celebrated it on the 6th). She retired as a legal secretary and was the owner of Alteration Plus. She was of the Baptist faith.

 

 She was preceded in death by her parents, Mr. and Mrs. James J. Pearson, and her brother, Ray Horton.

 

Those left to survive her include her daughter, Donna Putman McBryar (Gordon); son, Robert Putman (Libby); granddaughters, Erica and Ashley Putman; and her beloved dog, Bambi.

 

The family will receive friends on Tuesday, August 16, from 12-2 p.m. at Chattanooga Funeral Home North Chapel, Hixson. The funeral will be in the funeral home chapel at 2 p.m. on Tuesday with Gary Behler officiating. Entombment will follow in Hamilton Memorial Gardens.

 

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be made either to Elizabeth Terrace Baptist Church, 600 Mohawk St, Rossville, GA 30741 or to Hospice of Chattanooga at hospiceofchattanooga.org.
