Chasity Parks
Chasity Taknocka Parks, 46, of Chattanooga, succumbed to this earthly life on Wednesday, August 10, 2022, under the watchful eyes of the Lord and is now resting safely in his arms.
Our beautiful precious queen was born on Aug. 8, 1976, to David Parks and Charlotte (Middleton) Wells and was their only daughter. Chasity was of the Baptist faith. She was a 1994 graduate of Brainerd High School. Chasity always loved to read; as she would crawl into her toddler bed with anything with words on it. She loved to do crafting things, frequenting arts and craft stores looking for items to turn into her lighted treasures. Chasity grew into a sincere passionate advocate for health as she diligently worked as a Certified Pharmaceutical Technician and Personal Assistant in the Care-Giver Nursing field since 1997.
Preceding Chasity in death are her father, David A. Parks; her brother, Jeffery Daniel; her paternal grandparents, John and Essie Parks and her maternal grandmother, Helen Robinson.
Cherishing her memory are her three adult children, Chakhiria of Knoxville, Travis, U.S. Navy, Guam, and Chanel of East Ridge; her mother, Charlotte Wells; stepmother, Bonita Baker; brothers, Anthoine “Tony” Parks and Carlon “Puppy” Baker; her devoted sister, DaVidia “Dee” (John) Hudson; her grandfather, Henry Robinson, all of Chattanooga; and a host of dear aunts; uncles; nieces; nephews; cousins; and friends. Chasity touched the lives of many . . . she will be missed and always remembered within our hearts; and we know as time passes, these tears of tremendous sorrow will turn to comforting smiles filled with beautiful memories!
A memorial service will be on Tuesday, Aug. 23, at 3 p.m. in the chapel.
