East Hamilton's cross country boys and girls won the 6th annual Rabbit Valley Race at East Hamilton Tuesday evening.

The 6th year featured an altered course, reversed in direction and adding a woods section on the crest of Hurricane Hill.

East Hamilton's Ryan de Castro and Willa Barnes took the individual boys and girls victories, respectively.

The CSAS boys made a close race of things, with Grace Baptist Academy and Collegedale Academy runners also finishing in the top ten. (Ooltewah's top athlete was unavailable to race).

The CSAS girls kept their composure on East Hamilton's hilly home course, but in the end they couldn't catch the Lady Hurricanes, who scored a perfect 15.

BOYS: East Hamilton 29, CSAS 44, Collegedale 69, Ooltewah 109, Grace 116.
GIRLS: East Hamilton 15, CSAS 43, Ooltewah, Collegedale, & Grace did not field complete teams.
