Wilson, Minnie "Meam" (Spring City)

Minnie “Meam” Wilson, 87, of Spring City, Tennessee, passed away on Monday, September 19, 2022, at Rhea Medical Center.

She was born on May 20, 1935, in Sligo, Pennsylvania. Minnie moved from Kiawah Island, S.C., and had lived in this area since July of this year. She was a retired clerk with Kiawah Seabrook Medical Center. Minnie loved to hunt and shop. She also had a passion for fishing. She loved her dog “Missy”. Minnie was of the Catholic faith.

Minnie was preceded in death by her parents Joseph and Margaret Cimino Troese, and her two brothers, Samuel and Stephen Troese.

Survivors include her husband of 66 years, Jerry J. Wilson of Spring City; her child, Jeri (Glenn) St. Germain of Spring City, and several nieces and nephews.

There will be no funeral services.

In lieu of flowers, the family asks that donations be given to Animal Shelter Alliance of Rhea, 9118 Back Valley Road, Evensville, Tn. 37332 in her memory.
