John Henry Kaiser, III, 68, of Chattanooga passed away on September 26, 2022.

John was born in Chattanooga on August 10, 1954, to JoAnn McGaughey Kaiser and John Henry Kaiser, Jr. He was a graduate of Brainerd High School and later attended The University of Tennessee at Chattanooga.

During his time at The University of Tennessee at Chattanooga, he was a proud member of the Sigma Chi fraternity. He served and devoted his professional life to the hospitality industry for years through work at many local restaurants and hotels. He was a compassionate and caring friend to many and everyone John knew will greatly cherish his impact on their lives.

John was preceded in death by his parents.

He is survived by sister Beverly Bendall (Greg), his nieces, Brooke Burgess (Matthew) and Brandi Bullard (Todd), grandnephews Sawyer Burgess, Ben Fischer Burgess, Austin Bullard and grandniece Sloane Burgess, stepmother Martha Cornwell Dyer Kaiser.

Funeral services will be at 11 a.m. on Thursday, Sept. 29, at the North Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home in Hixson, with Dr. Steven C. Allert, D. of Min., chaplain for Hospice of Chattanooga. Interment will follow in Hamilton Memorial Gardens.

The family will receive guests from 9-11 a.m. on Thursday at the funeral home. 

In lieu of flowers, memorial donations may be made to Alumni Chapter, Sigma Chi (501 C3 Charitable Organization) 1714 Underwood Street, Chattanooga, TN 37408, to benefit scholarships.

Arrangements are by the North Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home, Crematory & Florist.  5401 Highway 153, Hixson, Tn. 37343.
