Mike Horn, of Athens, passed away at his home, surrounded by his beloved family, on Monday, September 26, 2022. He was born Nov. 17, 1954 in Cincinnati, Oh. to the late Ben and Dorothy Horn.
Mike enjoyed visiting Indian Boundary in his camper, “Gertie.” He always took his beloved cat, “Girl,” with him. He loved his family and enjoyed family gatherings; offering his expert “tinkering” advice on any project.
He was preceded in death by his parents; brother, Jim Horn; sister, Glenna Horn; and his son, Travis Carpenter.
He is survived by his son, Jason (Amanda) Horn, of Maryville; grandsons, Caleb Horn, of Panama City Beach, Fl. and Jared Horn, of Maryville; special niece, Traci Matthews and her family, of Bethel, Oh.; several nieces and nephews; and his best friend, Mark (Melissa) Morgan, of Englewood.
