The County Fair that was set for this weekend at McDonald Farm has been cancelled due to expected inclement weather.

Christy Cooper, administrator of General Services, said the action was taken after a majority of vendors and exhibitors notified the county they were pulling out.

She said a scaled-down version of the fair had been planned at the new site at Sale Creek.

The fair, in pre-pandemic days, was held at Chester Frost Park.
