Urban Air Adventure Park Opening On Gunbarrel Road

Urban Air Adventure Park at 2020 Gunbarrel announced the opening date will be Saturday at 10 a.m. with a special sneak peek on Friday from 5-8 p.m.

Officials said the park includes "more than 55,000 square feet of fun in which kids all of ages can have fun and aim higher. The state-of-the-art Urban Air Adventure Park in Chattanooga offers a full line-up of activities the entire family can enjoy. From the suspended Ropes Course, Climbing Walls, and Slam Dunk Zones to Tumble Track, and Warrior Course, the park is equipped with unique and patented attractions that can only be found at Urban Air, providing a one-of-a-kind experience for both enthusiastic adventurists and their pint-sized counterparts."

Urban Air’s go-karts are en route from Europe and will be arriving later in the month.

Thom Fox, Urban Air Chattanooga franchisee, said, “We are very excited to open our doors to the public this weekend. We know that Chattanooga has been eagerly awaiting this day, just as much as we have. We have an impressive roll out of 14 fun-filled attractions for families to enjoy now and within a few weeks, we will add even more attractions.”

Urban Air’s hours: Monday-Thursday from 4-8 p.m., Fridays from 4-9 p.m., and Sundays from 12-8 p.m.

It is the largest adventure park operator in the world with more than 155 locations open and 120 in development. Urban Air was founded in 2011 "with the mission of helping kids have fun while achieving activity goals that enhance their social and physical skills."
