CHI Memorial Foundation Announces 2022-2023 Board Of Directors

CHI Memorial Foundation, the fundraising arm of CHI Memorial, announces officers and members of the board of directors for 2022-2023. 

Julie Brandao will continue her role as chair of the board of directors. Will Clegg will serve as vice chair, Lacy Burd will serve as secretary, and Patti Dungan will serve as treasurer.

Roshan Amin, Jim Cardwell, Mark Hite, Quincy Jenkins and Pam McKenney are new members of the CHI Memorial Foundation board of directors.  They join Jonathan Adams, Deanna Brown, MD, Zac Brown, PhD, Rob Carden, Camille Daniel, Gina Dhanani, James R. Headrick, MD, Jeremy Jenkins, Laura Ketcham, Steve McNally, Rick Partain, James Pesnell, Kelly Richardson, MD, Betsy Washburn, MD, Taylor Whaley, MD and Chad Young. 

Mr. Amin is the president and CEO of Dynamic Group, which he launched in 2011.  "Roshan’s passion for developing and growing scalable businesses is only matched by his desire to share his time and talents with the community," officials said.  He currently serves on the McCallie School alumni and Chattanooga Police Department’s Crime Stoppers boards, and is also a member of the American Heart Association’s Cor Vitae Society and the executive leadership team for the AHA’s annual Chattanooga Heart Ball.
 
Mr. Cardwell serves as the CFO/COO of Doug Yates Towing & Recovery. He is married to Morgan Cardwell, who is the managing partner of Priority Legal Group.  When not at work, he enjoys golfing, skiing and spending time with his family.
 
Mr. Hite began his real estate career in 2002 after 15 years of retail sales management, building the Mark Hite Team to a group of 20.  He is currently the leadership team chairman of St. Mark’s Church, vice chairman for Chambliss Center for Children and serves on the board of directors of Cempa Community Care, Habitat for Humanity, Chattanooga CARES Foundation and Launchpad. In addition to these board memberships, he is actively involved in fundraising for many area nonprofits.
 
Dr. Jenkins serves as the vice president of organizational culture and engagement at Chattanooga State Community College. Prior to joining Chattanooga State, he served as the director of Hispanic outreach at Dalton State College in Dalton.  
 
Ms. McKenney worked as a CPA for Deloitte and GE, where she also held additional accounting, finance and strategy positions before retiring.  She and her husband, Rick, have lived in Chattanooga since 2009 and have three grown children. She is active in many local organizations, including Children’s Advocacy Center of Hamilton County, Hunter Museum of American Art, Baylor School Board of Trustees, Bridge Scholars and Siskin Hospital.  In addition, She and her husband co-chaired Pink! in 2020. 
 
CHI Memorial Foundation raised $6.1 million in FY22 to support capital, equipment, programmatic and outreach projects within CHI Memorial. One hundred percent of the funds raised will stay in the community, directly benefiting patients, providing access to health care and bringing new technologies to the region.
