Sandra “Sandy” Riley, 59, of Evensville, passed away on Monday, January 23, 2023, at Memorial Hospital in Chattanooga.

Sandy was born in Dayton on July 6, 1963, the daughter of the late Ray Calvin Dotson and Wilma Lee (Price) Dotson. 

Sandy lived in Rhea County all of her life. She had been employed at La-Z-Boy for 15 years. She loved fishing, yard sales and spending time with her nine grandkids. 

She is survived by her husband of 35 years, Ronald Riley of Evensville; her three sons, David (Crystal) Schrimpsher of Englewood, Jammie (Abie) Riley of Dayton, and Jacob Riley of Graysville; her nine grandchildren; her brother, Robert Dotson of Evensville; and her sister, Connie Swisher of Oneida. 

Funeral service for Sandy will be held in the funeral home chapel on Friday, Jan. 27, at 3 p.m. with Rev. Leroy Smith officiating. She will be laid to rest in Spring City Memorial Gardens next to her parents.

The family is being cared for by Vanderwall Funeral Home in Dayton, Tn., where they will receive friends on Friday, Jan. 27, from 1 p.m. until the time of the service.
