Sarah M. Scott, age 91, of the Villanow Community, passed away on Saturday, January 28, 2023.

She was the daughter of the late, Frank and Bertha Green and was preceded in death by her husband Billy Scott; brothers J.B. Green and Marlin Green; sisters, Ruth Cox, Neva Mae Wilbanks and Carolyn Wagnon.

She is survived by her daughters and sons-in-law, Deborah and Gary Gray of Villanow, Brenda and Ricky Hooper of Ringgold; sons and daughters-in-law, Gene and Phyllis Scott of Rocky Face and David and Dana Scott of Villanow; brother-in-law, Alton Wagnon of Dalton; grandchildren, Justin Gray, Rachel Hooper, Heather Eberts, Kaitlyn Scott and A.J. Scott; several great-grandchildren, nieces and nephews also survive.

The funeral service will be held on Wednesday, Feb. 1, at 3 p.m. in the Rocky Face Chapel of Julian Peeples with Rev. Clifford Chambers officiating.

The family will receive friends at the Rocky Face Chapel of Julian Peeples funeral home on Wednesday, February 1, 2023 from 12 p.m. until the funeral hour at 3 p.m.
