Preston Way
BrightBridge Capital, a community development financial institution, announced the addition of Preston Way to their CDFI loan fund, where he will be looking to expand and strengthen BrightBridge’s CDFI portfolio.
Mr. Way began his career as a consumer finance intern for Regions Bank at the bank’s headquarters in Birmingham. He later worked at a startup fintech company that was privately owned by Goldman Sachs where he held a Series 7 & 63 while also obtaining his Accident, Life, Health & Variable Life insurance licenses. He served as a manager focusing on selling alternative investments such as Structured Products & Annuities to financial advisors.
Mr. Way said, “I’m excited to serve the small business community. The meaningful purpose and positive impact BrightBridge offers is the biggest driver for me.”
Mr. Way is a graduate of UTC, majoring in Finance and obtained an MBA from the school’s graduate program. Mr. Way was part of UTC’s Student Managed Investment Learning Experience. He credits the program with accelerating his passion for finance and investing.

Mr. Way is a ‘dog dad’ to a blue merle mini Aussie and on the weekends the two enjoy being outdoors or cheering on the Tennessee Titans and Georgia Bulldogs.
