The East Tennessee Symphony Orchestra announces its performance at the Little Debbie Hamilton County Fair which takes place Veterans Day weekend, Nov. 10-12 at the McDonald Farm in Sale Creek.
Tickets to the fair are available on the Hamilton County Fair
website.
The all-volunteer orchestra will perform Sunday, Nov. 12 at 4:30 p.m., followed by a Firework Finale presented by TVFCU at sunset to conclude the three-day event.
"For more than 18 years, the Collegedale-based ETSO has enriched the Tennessee Valley and greater Chattanooga area through symphonic performances led by its all-volunteer orchestra," organizers said.
"By tradition, ETSO has performed in the region’s marquee Independence Day event in Collegedale to celebrate patriotism and community. The ETSO gives thanks to the Little Debbie Hamilton County Fair and Hamilton County Parks and Recreation for including the symphony orchestra as the event’s closing act."
“It is an honor to participate in the renewal of the Hamilton County Fair,” said ETSO Executive Director Mathew Miller. “The county fair is a wonderful tradition where families gather to celebrate small-town America at its finest. We are proud to see this community staple revitalized and that the ETSO gets to send off the fair with glory and pride.”
“We are grateful to welcome so many amazing community acts to offer a full weekend of family fun in a fresh new way,” said Karen Shostak, president of the Hamilton County Fair. “This is the next generation of the Hamilton County Fair, and we’re happy to have the ETSO as part of this can't-miss experience.”
