Upcoming Road Closings Announced

Here are upcoming road closures for construction:

Oak Street

Oak Street between Palmetto Street and Fortwood Place will be closed from Monday until Friday, for a sewer repair.  Access for residents will be maintained. 

Slayton Street / E 17th Street

The following streets will be closed from Monday until July 1, 2024 for a major construction project:  

  • Slayton Street between E 16th Street and E 17th Street
  • E 17th Street between Central Ave and Slayton Street

Emergency services access will be maintained.

E 19th Street

E 19th Street between Watauga Street and South Holly Street will be closed from Monday until Friday, for a sewer repair.  Access for residents will be maintained, detours will be posted.

E 11th Street and Park Ave

The intersection of E 11th Street and Park Ave will be closed from Tuesday until Thursday, for a new water main installation. All traffic will be detoured via E 10th Street and E 12th Street. Delays are expected, please plan for additional time while traveling.

Custom Street

Custom Street between Lindsay Street Street and Columbia Street will be closed Wednesday, from 8 a.m. until 5 p.m. for a crane lift.

Ocoee Street

Ocoee Street at Olive Street will be closed Wednesday until Friday, for an emergency sewer repair.  Revington Street can be used as a detour route. 

109 Halsey Street

Halsey Street will be closed Thursday until Tuesday, Dec. 5, for a sewer repair. Detours will be posted.   

Lake Resort Drive Bridge Construction Site - Temporary Closure

Lake Resort Drive will see brief, intermittent closures on Friday, beginning around 10 a.m  These closures will last 10-15 minutes each, with time for traffic to recover in between.  All closures should be completed by 11:30 a.m.  Consider Hamill Road as an alternative route during this time.
