Ice On The Landing Announces Special Activities For Week Of Nov. 27

Ice on the Landing in its new location at the First Horizon Pavilion (home of the Chattanooga Market), features open-air holiday ice skating almost every day through Jan. 29 on real ice on a 40’x140’ rink.

"Plentiful parking and a high overhead covering now offers skaters convenience and protection from rain," officials said.

This week’s schedule features the following special activities:

- For their regular “We Give Wednesday” program, Ice on the Landing be sharing 20 percent of its skating proceeds between 5-9 p.m., with Children’s Hospital at Erlanger this Wednesday.
Come support healthcare for children while having fun on the ice.

- Thursday through Saturday, Ice on the Landing will be surrounded by the competitive energy of the BlueCross Bowl, where the TSSAA Tennessee High School Football Championship games will be hosted at Finley Stadium.

- On Sunday, Dec. 3, the Humane Educational Society will be bringing out adoptable dogs for a meet and greet at Ice on the Landing from noon-2 p.m. Then from 4-6 p.m., Santa will read books provided by Hamilton County’s Read20 bus, and kids will be given a free book to take home.

- An on-site “Chill Zone” offers an area with daily seating, television screens and fire pits. A hot drink trailer as well food from the Jalapeno Corndog and California Smothered Burrito will provide on-site concessions this weekend.

Ticket pricing for ice skating is $12 for an adult ticket and $10 for a child ticket aged 12 and under. These prices include skates and a 60-minute skate session.

Birthday skating parties and other parties will continue to be offered, as well as season passes and gift cards.
