CARTA will participate in the Local 3 News annual Share Your Christmas food drive on Friday, Dec. 8.

Veronica Peebles, CARTA’s director of Communications & Planning, said that all day on next Friday, passengers who bring a canned good or non-perishable food item to any CARTA bus or Care-a-van will receive a free one-way bus ride.

“As a community, we are to support and help one another and sharing with others is a great way to do that.  As our customers help and support others with their food donations, we want to show them our appreciation for their generosity,” said Ms.
Peebles.
