Angela Stiggins Of CHI Memorial Hospital Georgia Elected To Georgia Hospital Association Board Of Trustees

CHI Memorial Hospital Georgia Market Vice President of Operations and Administrator Angela Stiggins, MBA, RRT, RCP, has been elected to the Board of Trustees of the Georgia Hospital Association. Ms. Stiggins will serve as an at-large trustee, where her duties will include working with the board to develop strategies for GHA hospital members, advocating for the highest quality care for patients and supporting adequate reimbursement for hospitals.

"Ms. Stiggins began her health care career as a registered respiratory therapist at CHI Memorial Hospital Georgia in 1987, when the hospital served under a different name," officials said.
"From there she worked her way up to being the director of cardiopulmonary services for several years, physician liaison and chief operating officer before moving into an administrative role and market position.  She has served in her current role since 2022, where she is responsible for operations at CHI Memorial Hospital Georgia, as well as the ancillary and ambulatory service lines for the TN/GA market supporting the strategic plan and goals.  She also works to ensure high levels of physician satisfaction and has implemented initiatives to successfully increase patient experience and employee satisfaction, and improve operational efficiencies." 

“Angela Stiggins is a forward-thinking leader whose strategic planning has helped her hospital remain strong and viable for its community,” said GHA President and CEO Caylee Noggle.  “The GHA board will greatly benefit from her experience, and we look forward to her service.”

Ms. Stiggins serves on the board of GHA’s Center for Rural Health, as well as the boards of the Georgia Department of Public Health Northwest Health District, the Southeast Tennessee Healthcare Coalition Executive Healthcare, the Catoosa County College and Career Academy and Blood Assurance, North Georgia.  She serves as vice chair of the Catoosa County Chamber of Commerce.  She was the 2022 recipient of the American Red Cross Call to Action Award and the 2021 CommonSpirit Health Humankindness Award.  She earned a master’s of business administration and a bachelor of science in business administration from Bryan College in Dayton.  She holds an associate degree in respiratory care from Independence University in Salt Lake City, Ut.
