Cheryl Wright
Cheryl E. Wright, 66, passed away on February 8, 2023, in Chattanooga, Tennessee.
She was born on Oct. 7, 1956, in Chattanooga, to Barbara Jean Anderson and Charlie Lee Wright. Cheryl attended Howard High School and was employed by ABM until her health declined. She was a former member of Olivet Baptist Church.
Cheryl was preceded in death by her parents, Charlie Lee Wright and Barbara Anderson; a grandson, Roderick Holloway, Jr.; maternal and paternal grandparents.
She leaves to cherish precious memories, her son, Roderick Holloway, Sr. of Chattanooga; father, Alonzo Anderson of Chattanooga; three granddaughters, Keoshia Starling of Antioch, TN, KeAnna Spivey and Yasmine Martin both of Chattanooga; grandson, Ro'Shawn Holloway of Chattanooga; two great-granddaughters, Ryleigh Holloway and Zoie Hurst of Knoxville, TN; one great-grandson, Da'Kari Holloway of Knoxville, TN; four sisters, Valerie Wright-Southers, Verna Wright-Gilbert, Denise (Elder Keith) Jones, and Beverly Glover all of Chattanooga; one brother, Chester Wright of League City, TX; a host of nieces, nephews, great nieces, great nephews, cousins, all the relatives and friends.
An 11 a.m. celebration of life service will be held on Monday, Feb. 27, in the chapel of John P. Franklin Funeral Home, 1101 Dodds Ave., 423 622-9995.
