Adrian Casteel
Adrian Gregory Casteel was born in Chattanooga, Tennessee, on June 4, 1954.
He was educated in the Chattanooga Public School System and attended Tyner High School. He worked various jobs but his true love was being a truck driver.
He was baptized at Hawkinsville Baptist Church at an early age. Adrian “Gregory” as he was fondly called, had a great love for fishing and loved working with his hands. Gregory loved his family and friends.
Gregory was preceded in death by parents, James and Virginia Casteel; brothers, James and Virgil; and sister, Patricia Casteel.
He is survived by his loving wife, Dimika Casteel; his loving sons, Marcus (Shawna) Ashord and Victor Townes, both of Chattanooga, Mikal Johnson, Nashville, and Rodney Jenkins of Detroit, MI; daughters, Felicia Casteel, Adriana Casteel Mebane, Rachquel (Mequel) Logan, Vickie Townes (Michael Thomas), Christina Hardley, all of Chattanooga, Syncere Johnson, Nashville; brothers, Edward (Druehelen) Casteel, Anthony, Michael and Samuel Casteel, all of Chattanooga; sisters, Loretta (Robert) Mobley, Linda Casteel (Randy), Sherry Taylor all of Chattanooga, and Angela (Kenneth) Casteel-Gunn of Anchorage, Ak.; a host of other relatives and friends.
Public viewing will begin at 9 a.m. on Tuesday, March 14, at 9 a.m., followed by the funeral service at 1 p.m. in the funeral home chapel.
