Jonathan David Raines, 52, of Jasper, passed away on Thursday, March 16, 2023.

Jonathan was a dispatcher for Marion County 911 and took pride in working with law enforcement. His hobbies were fishing and he loved working on and collecting guns. He had great love and knowledge of the Constitution and American History.

Jonathan was preceded in death by his grandparents, Clyde S. and Joyce Payne Raines and Everett and Vesta Stephens; his uncles, Mike Raines, Larry Raines, Jerry Raines, Eugene Stephens, Frank Stephens, James “Mikey” Milford Stephens and George “Ikey” Walter Stephens; his aunts, Marie Legg and Betty Finch.

Those left to cherish his memory are his parents, Jimmy L. and Edna Stephens Raines; sister, Amy (Chris) Payne, and niece, Madison Payne.

Family will receive friends for visitation on Friday, March 17, from 3-6 p.m. and Saturday, March 18, from 3-6 p.m.
