The Chattanooga Mortgage Bankers Association, at their Annual Awards Banquet on March 17, named TVFCU mortgage originator Jessica Parrish as Chattanooga Mortgage Banker of the Year for 2022. The award is based on a popular vote among members of the organization and honored Ms. Parrish for her achievements in loan production and community involvement.

“The CMBA exists to promote professionalism, integrity and efficiency among mortgage bankers, brokers, title companies, attorneys, appraisers and others in our industry,” said Holly Walsh, CMBA president.
“Jessica made a remarkable impact in 2022, achieving Diamond Award status with over $30 million in production, and working continuously with TVFCU to support individuals and communities in the Chattanooga area.”

Ms. Parrish began her career with TVFCU in May of 2015, working to help members achieve their home-ownership goals. She originated 230 mortgages in 2022.

“TVFCU is a not-for-profit financial cooperative, meaning that we exist to reinvest profits into the communities we serve through better loan rates for our members, high dividends on investments and community support through sponsorships with nonprofits and other impactful methods,” said Ms. Parrish. “I see this award as validation and recognition of the great work we do every day at TVFCU.”

Officials said, "Through the efforts of Ms. Parrish and many others in TVFCU’s real estate department, the credit union became Chattanooga’s top mortgage lender in 2022 by both number of loans and dollar amount."
