The Bucs of Boyd Buchanan earned a 4-1 win over Vestavia Hills in Birmingham on Saturday. The Bucs led 1-0 at the half. Scoring for Boyd was Mills Wood, Hutch Healy, Phillip Collins and Edson Angel. Lane Park, Angel, Healey and Wood also had assists.

The Baylor boys soccer team beat Knox Catholic 8-2 in their region opener. First half goals were scored by Gui Gragnano (2) and Phelipe Spielman.
Alberth Valcarcel, JR Godbehere and Spielman each had an assist in the first half. Baylor led 3-1 at the half. In the second half, goals were scored by Gragnano, Mohammad Wumpini, Porter Stinson, Carter Weekley and David Wang. Second half assists went to David Mitchell (2) and Antonia Fazio-Vives (2). Baylor improves to 5-1-1.
