Wayne Eugene Willison, 83, of Chattanooga, passed away on Thursday, March 30, 2023, in a local hospital.

He was born on June 3, 1939 in Woodsfield, Oh., to the late Vernon and Rachel Willison.

Mr. Willison was retired as vice president of Blue Cross/Blue Shield of Tennessee after 30 years of service. He attended Ooltewah Church of Christ and was a member of the Council Fire Golf Club. He served in the United States Army as a Specialist 4th Class. He was an avid Tennessee Vols fan.

His son-in-law, Todd Morgan and nephew, Keith Willison preceded him in death.

Survivors include his daughters, Jill Morgan of Chattanooga, and Lisa (Reginald) Worth of Longwood, Fl.; grandsons, Michael Morgan and Brandon Morgan both of Chattanooga; granddaughter, Abigail Worth of Longwood, Fl.; brother, Dean (Anita) Willison of Montgomery, Al.; and one niece Kathi (Ricky) Anderson of Montgomery.

The family will receive friends on Tuesday, April 4, from 11:30 a.m.–1:30 p.m. at the funeral home.

Funeral services will begin at 1:30 p.m. in the East Brainerd Chapel with Minister Denny Howell officiating. Interment will follow at Hamilton Memorial Gardens.

In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to Ooltewah Church of Christ, P.O. Box 147, Ooltewah, Tn. 37363.
