Baylor Girls Continue To Shine At Vol Classic Track Meet

On Saturday afternoon, Baylor athletes shone at the Vol Classic at Tom Black Track at the University of Tennessee. Evie Culbreath, Mae Mae Powe, and Helen Webb scored 40 points to finish in a tie for fifth in the overall team standings. UNC signee Culbreath was dominant with wins in the high jump (5'2") and the 100m hurdles (14.42) and a 5^th place finish in the 300m hurdles (46.56). In the 1600m, Mae Mae Powe added to her Friday night win in the 3200m with a 4^th in the 1600m (5:06.54)--joined by Helen Webb, who was 8^th (5:21.84).
