Donna Irene (Goodson) Williams, 60, of Spring City, passed away on Thursday, May 25, 2023, at Parkwest Medical Center in Knoxville.

She was born in Dayton on Nov. 8, 1962, the daughter of William C. Goodson of Spring City who survives her and the late Hazel Irene (Houts) Goodson. She was also preceded in death by her brother, William Brian Goodson.

Donna lived in Rhea County all of her life and was a CNA at Rhea Medical Center and Spring City Care and Rehabilitation.

In addition to her father, Donna is survived by her two daughters, Amanda Wilson of Dayton and Candace (Steven) Hyder of Elizabethton; six grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; and two sisters, Shirri (Eddie) Pruitt of Pikeville and Kathleen Rostrup of Spring City.

Funeral services for Donna will be held in the funeral home chapel on Saturday, May 27, at 2 p.m. She will be laid to rest at Goodson Family Cemetery in Spring City after the service.
