Linda Lou Daniels, 79, passed away on Sunday, June 4, 2023. She was a lifetime resident of Chattanooga and of the Baptist faith.

Linda enjoyed spending time with her family, especially watching her great-grandchildren play ball. Throughout her life, she loved to sing gospel songs and in her early years, she loved crafts and sewing.

Linda was preceded in death by her husband, Roy A. Daniels; mother, Mary Lou Walker; two fathers, Wesley Jones and Robert E. Walker, as well as her brother, Robert E. Walker II.

She is survived by her daughters, Kim Sewell and Kelly Daniels; brothers, Bill Jones (Lucy) and Lake Jones (Judy); sister, Rita Corriher (Robert); grandson, Nicholas Sewell (Bethany); great-grandchildren, Elijah Sewell and Madelyn Sewell, and special friends Redina Clay and Lisa Houser, who gave their unending love and care for many months.

The family would like to give a very special thanks to the entire Hearth Hospice Team, but especially to nurse Jennifer and nurse Debra; nursing assistants, Trina and Candius; social worker, Morgan, as well as Chaplain Don. The exceptional love and care given to Ms. Daniels was beyond measure.

The family will receive friends on Saturday, June 10, from 11 a.m.-1 p.m. at Turner Funeral Home at Hwy 58.

A funeral service will follow in the chapel with Brother Mike Manning officiating.

Burial will be private.
