L. Quentin Lane
L. Quentin Lane, 88, died peacefully at his home in Fleming Island, Florida, on June 5, 2023.
Dr. Lane was president emeritus of Cleveland State Community College.
He is survived by his wife of 43 years, Evelyn; his daughter, Darlene Lane-Detman (Pat) of Ooltewah; step-son Stephen Higgins (Amy) Jacksonville, Fl.; step-daughter Kelly Jackson (Mark) Fleming Island, Fl.; step-granddaughter, Asia d'Acquarone Verona, Italy; his special friend, Adrian Locklear. He is also survived by sisters-in-law, Joyce Lane, Chattanooga, and Hazel Lane, Hixson, and several nieces and nephews.
In accordance with his written instructions, there will be no memorial service.
Arrangements are being provided by A Dignified Alternative-Hatcher, Jacksonville, Fl.
