Siskin Hospital Named 3rd In The Nation For Lowest Readmission Rates For An Inpatient Rehabilitation Facility

  • Tuesday, July 18, 2023
Siskin Hospital announces a recognition in their "continuous pursuit of excellence." Becker's Hospital Review has compiled a list of the top 10 inpatient rehabilitation hospitals in the United States with the lowest readmission rates, according to the Centers for Medicare and Medicaid Services Inpatient Rehabilitation Facility Provider Data. Siskin Hospital for Physical Rehabilitation ranks third on the national list. The data is based on the quality of patient care measures displayed on Inpatient Rehabilitation Facility Compare.

"Research has found that hospitals can engage in a specific, coordinated kind of care that can lower the rate of readmissions, thereby reducing the medical complications that occurred during the patients' initial hospital stay," officials said.

"Siskin Hospital takes great pride in the work we do to help our patients return home and continue their healing journey.
Our commitment lies in providing the level of care that keeps our patients where they truly belong at home, surrounded by their loved ones," said Matthew A. Gibson, Ph.D., CEO & president of Siskin Hospital.
