Mayor's Office To Host Tailgates At Rivalry Football Games This Fall

  • Monday, August 14, 2023
The Hamilton County Mayor’s Office is hosting a series of tailgates at local high school football games this fall.

The tour will feature four games spread out across the county, hitting the school system’s most historic rivalries, while also catching the latest addition to the district’s football program.

At every tailgate event, the mayor’s office will join forces with a different county department to provide food, drinks and games for the community. This collaboration is meant to engage citizens to interact with county employees to gain deeper insights into the various services provided to taxpayers and get to know who is behind the operations.

Tailgate lineup:

- Aug.
18: Tyner Academy at Red Bank High School;
- Aug. 25: Ooltewah High School at Soddy Daisy High School;
- Sept. 29: East Hamilton High School at Ooltewah High School; and
- Oct. 6: Chattanooga Preparatory School at Hixson High School.

All tailgates will start at 5:30 p.m
