Do It Scared Conference On Sept. 23 Gets You "Ready To Face Your Fears"

The Grind Smart Foundation and Light House Collective organized the Do It Scared Conference to help people get ready to face their fears and embrace the thrill of overcoming and conquering their doubts. This is an in-person event that will be held on Saturday in the newly renovated Construction Career Center at 2225 Roanoke Ave. from 9 a.m.-noon.

"This conference will provide an exciting day packed with inspiration, motivation and empowerment," organizers said. "Come to get ready to conquer your fears and step out of your comfort zone.
Chris Sands, the conference host, will introduce the lineup of presenters who will be sharing their personal stories and strategies for overcoming challenges. There will be breakout sessions throughout the day. The guest speaker to wind up, finalize and walk it down the runway will be the nationally known fashion mogul J. Renee.
