Lawrence Emanuel Sledge
Lawrence Emanuel Sledge passed away on September 26, 2023, in Huntsville, Alabama.
He was the son of the late Rev. Emanuel and Rosie Sledge. He will be laid to rest on Sunday, Oct. 1, 2023.
He leaves to cherish his memories, his daughter Carol, and son, Fitzgerald of Huntsville; two sisters, Annie B. Sledge Mason, of Chattanooga and Pearlean Sledge Morrison of Huntsville; brothers, Rev. Henry Sledge and Pearl L. Sledge of Huntsville; nephew, Larry Mason and niece, Selena Mason, both of Chattanooga; a host of nieces and nephews.
Lawrence will lie in state 12:30–1:30 p.m. on Sunday, Oct. 1, at the Northwest Church of Christ Huntsville Alabama, followed by a 1:30 p.m. funeral service.
