Rex Stargel, 70, of Rocky Face, passed away on Thursday, September 28, 2023, at his home.
He was preceded in death by his daughter Cassie Dawn Stargel; his parents, Nettie and Coley Stargel, and his sister Ann Wilson.
He is survived by his loving wife Charlotte Stargel; two sons, Jeremy Stargel of Rocky Face and Cory (Sarah) Stargel of Eagle Rock, CA.; sisters, Robin Stargel, Becky Nutt, and Charlene Stargel; brother, Charles Stargel; brother and sister-in-law, Coleman and Vivian Stargel; grandchildren, Jaelea and Alex Stargel; and dear family friends, Jon and Morgan Wilbanks, and their sons, Jackson, Wesley, Theodore; nieces, and nephews also survive.
The funeral service will be on Tuesday, Oct. 3, at 1 p.m. at the Rocky Face Chapel with Jon Wilbanks giving the eulogy.
The family will receive friends at the funeral home on Monday, Oct. 2, from 5-8 p.m.
Burial will be at Anderson Memorial Gardens.
