Margaret Ann DeLorenzo, 77, of Chattanooga, Tennessee, passed away on Tuesday, October 1, 2024.

She was the daughter of the late Kenneth Shirley and Mary Smail and was preceded in death by her daughter, Tina Shirley.

Margaret was born in Latrobe, Pa., and moved to Chattanooga in 1989. She retired as a claims specialist for Blue Cross/Blue Shield Insurance Company. She loved gardening, cooking and spending time with her family.

She is survived by her son, Vincent DeLorenzo, Jr. (Deanna), of Chattanooga, four grandchildren, Jacob (Tori), Desiree, Isaiah, Braydon, and two great grandchildren, Aleigha, Aubrey and two more on the way, Ellie and Jaycee, sister, Bea Conn, of Latrobe, Pa., sister-in-law, Nancy Mosier, of Chattanooga, and several nieces and nephews.

A celebration of life service will be held at 1 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 5, in the Valley View Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home with Pastor Ronnie Phillips, Jr., officiating.

The family will receive friends from 11 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Saturday, Oct. 5, at the funeral home.
