Charlotte Whittle
Charlotte Raborn Wilbanks Whittle, 77, of Jasper, Alabama, formerly of Apison, Tennessee, passed away on Wednesday, October 2, 2024.
Charlotte was born in Chattanooga, on Feb. 24, 1947, the daughter of the late Clyde Raborn and Dorothy Marshall Raborn. She was co-owner of Reds Carpet and enjoyed working with her husband. Charlotte will be remembered for being genuine and her sense of humor.
In addition to her parents, Charlotte was preceded in death by her sisters, Lorene and Mickey and her brother, Sam Raborn.
Survivors include her husband, Gilford J. “Red” Whittle; brother, Lowell Raborn; and a sister, Barbara Shadwick (Cecil).
A Celebration of Life will be on Sunday, Oct. 6, at 1 p.m. at Heritage Funeral Home with Johnny Hughes officiating. Interment will follow at Plowman Cemetery.
Visitation will be on Saturday from 5–9 p.m. and Sunday from 11 a.m. until the service hour at Heritage Funeral Home.
