Robert Helms
Robert Douglas Helms, 92, passed away on Saturday, October 5, 2024.
He had been a member of East Ridge Christian Church and attended South Seminole Baptist Church. Mr. Helms had been a truck driver for 50 years. He graduated from the Baylor School.
He was preceded in death by his wife, Martha Helms.
Survivors include his children, Tony (Susan) Helms, Curtis (Sonya) Helms, Lynn Postel, Sarah Helms. Robert Helms, Jr. and Mac Helms; several grandchildren and great-grandchildren.
Graveside services will be held at Hamilton Memorial Gardens Chapel of Devotion at 2 p.m. on Wednesday, Oct. 9.
The family will receive friends from 10 a.m. to 1 p.m. on Wednesday at the East Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home, 404 South Moore Road, East Ridge, Tn.
