John Theodore “Ted” Evans
John Theodore “Ted” Evans, 76, of Ooltewah, Tennessee, passed away on Wednesday, October 30, 2024.
Ted was born in Hanford, Ca., on Jan. 1, 1948, the son of the late Edward Evans and Nancy Aprile Evans.
Ted was preceded in death by two brothers, Clyde and Tim.
He enjoyed his career, teaching and coaching at Southern Adventist University, Chattanooga State, and Armstrong State University. His life-long interests included playing golf and pickleball, carving, restoring antique furniture and traveling throughout the United States.
Survivors include his wife, Suzanne Evans.
