Greg Callaham Graphic Design, a Chattanooga advertising design firm, recently announced it has earned seven American Graphic Design Awards in national recognition for creative excellence. The awards were bestowed by Graphic Design USA, a nationwide trade publication, for his work on behalf of out-of-home advertising customers Chirico Media, Sisson Outdoor Advertising, Vector Media and View Outdoor Advertising. The award-winning ads appeared across the United States as billboards and transit advertising.
This is the 15th consecutive year Mr. Callaham has earned the awards since establishing his company in 2009.
“I’m very fortunate to have clients who challenge me with opportunities to use my God-given talent, and the experience I’ve gained from four decades in advertising and marketing, to bring their messages to life with impact. Sometimes it’s tweaking their vision in an unexpected way, sometimes they turn me loose with the proverbial blank sheet of paper. Either way, I get to do something I’ve loved my whole life, execute their message to the best of my ability, and make them happy,” Mr. Callaham said.
Officials said, "The editors of Graphic Design USA, honor the outstanding work of creative professionals in the graphic arts community each year. To win an American Graphic Design Award means the entry is recognized as some of the best and brightest among thousands of entries from graphic design firms, advertising agencies, in-house corporate and institutional designers, publishers and other media across the United States, in over 20 categories from print and packaging to internet and interactive design. Of approximately 10,000 entries, only a highly selective 10 percent receive recognition for creative excellence."
This year marks the 61st American Graphic Design Awards competition.
