Recently I watched the Seinfeld Festivus episode, the one with so many side stories of self-indulgence, greed and hypocrisy. Senator Rand Paul, R-KY capitalized on this idea informing us of government waste and indulgence in idiocy over the last year.
Senator Paul, in true Festivus form of the airing of grievances, let Congress and Joe Biden know how they’ve let us down to the tune of $1 trillion plus. Congress voted to fund among many things, ice skating ‘Beards on Ice’ drag queens, a $12 million pickle ball complex in Las Vegas and nearly $5 million for Ukrainian ‘influencers’ whatever that is. $10 billion was spent for empty federal buildings due to employees working from home (WashTimes 12/23/24).
Before the election, Biden paid off $4.9 million student loans totaling $180 billion (www.ed.gov). However since Joe bailed out and Kamala lost, they canceled the cancellation. That means teachers, nurses and law enforcement got the bad news their loans won’t get erased.
Even though Congress let us down, Joe Biden signed those spending bills and then reneged on his promise to cancel millions more student debt since they no longer need those votes. Now for the “feats of strength, Joe should carry the Festivus pole with him as a symbol of his half century in government. So Happy Festivus Joe Biden.

* * *
Will Ralph Miller ever learn that continuing to harangue about President Biden is meaningless? The man will be out of office on Jan. 20.
Every President has left office with never having everyone approve of his administration. I read complaints about Millard Fillmore from time to time.
Of course, Mr. Miller may be realizing that he will have no reason to offer his opinion after that date without being hypocritical. Or defending a felon.
