Susan Fulbright Dotson, 68, of Cleveland, Tn., entered the arms of Jesus on February 16, 2024.

She was born to Gerald and Martha Fulbright on August 11, 1955 in Killeen, Tx. at Fort Hood Military Hospital.

She married the love of her life, Rick Dotson, on August 30, 1974, and was reunited with him in her death. She is survived by daughter Jenifer (Brad) Mauldin, son Eric Dotson, son Robbie Dotson, daughter Jill (TJ) Shaw, grandson Avery (Brittany) Dotson, granddaughter Ashleigh (Kevin) Bramblett, granddaughter Lexy (Kyle) Langford, granddaughter Allie (Jake) Shockey, granddaughter Sami Dotson, grandson Reece (HaLee) Dotson, granddaughters Emmaleigh and Caroline Shaw, grandsons Rylan Dotson and Tripp Shaw and nine great-grandchildren; mother Martha Fulbright, brother JR (Carol) Fulbright, and sister Patricia Gilliland; several nieces, nephews and cousins; best friends Faith Walls and Lorie Ritchie.

Susan will be remembered for her love of family, the Atlanta Braves, the color purple and all things sweet. She and her husband, Rick, pastored the Cape Girardeau Church of God in Missouri for several years prior to his death in 1993. She worked in the food industry as a general manager for Captain D's and KFC before retiring in 2004 due to her health. She loved serving others and her employees adored her. She loved to read, garden, play cards, cook and spend time with her family.

A celebration of life will be held at Mt. Olive Ministries on Thursday, Feb. 22 at 1 p.m., with a public visitation prior to the service beginning at 12 p.m.. A graveside service will be held immediately following at Benton Station Cemetery. All are asked to wear her favorite color, purple, in her honor.
