Journey Health Foundation on Tuesday announced two changes to their team, with the hire of Denise Dye and the promotion of Jasmin Rippon.

Ms. Dye has joined the Journey Health Foundation team as its first vice president of Pathways Data Hub. She brings more than 30 years of experience in data management and analytics to the position, where she will work to advance data-driven initiatives to improve public health throughout Hamilton County. Her professional background includes achievements in the fields of data analytics and governance, including the implementation of numerous strategies that have improved organizational performance and data integrity.

As Journey Health Foundation's first vice president of the Pathways Data Hub, Ms. Dye will oversee the development of a community-based care coordination system to support local health workers and address disparities in healthcare. Specifically, she will forge new partnerships with community-based organizations, direct the delivery of care coordination services, and manage the operational aspects of the Hub.

Ms. Dye holds a Bachelor of Science degree from Covenant College and is a 30-year veteran of the healthcare sector, having previously served as chief information officer, chief operating officer and program director with Hospice of Chattanooga.

Ms. Rippon will assume the role of vice president of Development. Over the course of her career, she has demonstrated a solid track record of advancing investment strategies and enhancing annual net revenues, including leading a $2.6 million capital campaign and facilitating a seven-figure donation for the Trust for Public Land’s Tennessee office. Ms. Rippon has also served in high-level development roles at Siskin Children's Institute, the Home Builders Association of Southern Tennessee, and Chattanooga’s Kids on the Block.

As Journey Health Foundation's first vice president of Development & Philanthropy Officer, Ms. Rippon will lead the development and implementation of fundraising initiatives to improve health outcomes for all Hamilton County residents. Specifically, she will be involved in orchestrating fundraising campaigns, building donor relationships, and exploring new philanthropic opportunities.

Ms. Rippon holds a Bachelor of Arts in Communications from Michigan State University, equipping her with a comprehensive skill set for her role in advancing the foundation's mission. Her community service includes volunteering and leadership roles with Leadership Chattanooga, the Chattanooga Nonprofit Alliance, and the Chattanooga Women’s Leadership Institute, among others.

"More advanced use of data analytics will be an increasingly important part of how communities like ours address social determinants of health," said Tracy Wood, the foundation's president and CEO. "Journey Health Foundation intends to be at the forefront of this critical work. As we move forward, we must engage more funding partners who share our vision of making Chattanooga one of the healthiest cities in the country. We look forward to cultivating and finding the exceptional leaders that we need to make this happen.”
