Chattanooga Golf Ball Exceeds Expectations, Announces Plans For 2024

  • Friday, February 23, 2024

Roshan Amin, chairman of the 2023 Chattanooga Heart Ball, and his executive leadership committee team saw an opportunity to further support The American Heart Association by creating and founding The Chattanooga Golf Ball, a scramble golf tournament hosted by The Black Creek Club, and benefitting The Chattanooga Heart Ball.

The Chattanooga Golf Ball quickly earned the reputation as one of Chattanooga’s best fundraising tournaments, raising awareness and funding for heart and stroke support research, and contributing $75,000 to the cause, organizers said.

The Allen Brown Family AED demonstration kicked off the morning by showcasing the critical life-saving capability of AEDs.

Golfers were then treated to an Audi Hole-in-One opportunity, a Closest to the Pin Challenge, a Longest Drive Contest and a fun-filled Celebrity Challenge with Brad Denton.

The Black Creek golf course was positioned with themed drink stations, a swag station and multiple food trucks for golfers to indulge. To test their skills, participants engaged in a putt-off and slingshot competition. Everyone walked away a winner after a beautiful day of golf.

Blue Potato Media created a highlight reel of the day’s events.

In anticipation of next year, Mr. Amin said he is excited to announce that the annual Chattanooga Golf Ball will once again be hosted by The Black Creek Club and held in April 2024. "With limited capacity, we will be even more strategic in our fundraising mission while providing more elevated experience for participants and sponsors. The first right of refusal will respectfully be honored," he said.
