Carla Michelle Boyd
Carla Michelle Boyd, 47, of Dunlap, Tennessee, passed away on February 23, 2024.
She was born on Dec. 24, 1976, in East Ridge. Carla graduated from Lookout Valley High School in 1995. She was a Christian of the Baptist faith.
She was preceded in death by her grandparents, Dora Reatha and Bobby Frank Housley and Albert "Junior" and Mildred Louise Boyd; her uncle, Robert Housley; and mother-in-law and friend, Barbara Ann Chambers.
Carla is survived by her children, Michael Isaiah Chambers and Gabriel Wayne Boyd; her parents, Becky Housley Boyd and Carl Wayne Boyd of Dunlap; her sister, Carey (Stephen) Trachian of Garner, NC; her nephews, Caleb and Jonah Trachian; her niece, Lara Trachian; the father of Michael, James Aaron Chambers; her aunts, Beverly Patton and Kathy (Dan) Jacobson; her uncles, Eugene (Linda) Boyd, David (Joyce) Boyd, and Richard (Wanda) Boyd; and her special friend, Heather Davis.
Carla was a kind, thoughtful, and outgoing individual who touched the lives of many as a loving mother, daughter, sister, aunt, and friend. She will be deeply missed by all who knew her.
Visitation will be from 12-2 p.m. on Tuesday, Feb. 27, at Lane Funeral Home, Ashland Terrace.
Funeral services will be at 2 p.m. on Tuesday in the Coulter Chapel of Lane Funeral Home.
