Mrs. Beulah Christine Carroll, 93, of Cohutta, Georgia, departed this life on Monday, February 26, 2024, at Ridgewood Manor surrounded by her loving family.
Beulah was born on Nov. 11, 1930, in Morgan County, Tn., a daughter of the late George and Mauline Glover Morgan.
She was also preceded in death by her husband Major Lincoln Carroll, a grandson, Jake McCurry and sisters, Harriett Brown, Mary Bunch, Sarah Riggs, Mable Duncan, Ola Mae Morgan, and Mimi Jo Morgan.
She was a house wife and a member of Wesleyann Missionary Baptist Church in Apison, Tennessee.
She is survived by her sons and daughter-in-law, Emit Carroll of Cohutta, GA, Kermit and Virginia Sue Carroll of Chatsworth, GA; daughters and son-in-law, Betty McCurry of Dayton, OH, Martha Morgan of Sunbright, TN, and Barbara and Gene Ledford of Cleveland, TN; brother, Ernest Morgan of Petros, TN; sisters, Bonnie Duncan, Edith Morgan, Violet Morgan all of Petros, TN; grandchildren, Jason McCurry, Jay McCurry, Jeff McCurry, Jamie McCurry, Andy Morgan, Mikey Morgan, Dianne Samples, Mitchell Carroll, Eli Fields, Darlene Swallows, Jonas Carroll and Samantha Redd; several great-grandchildren, great-great-grandchildren, and nieces and nephews.
Services to celebrate the life of Mrs. Beulah Christine Carroll will be held Friday, March, 1, at 11 a.m. at Ponders Melrose Chapel with Reverend Johnny Ware officiating. She will be laid to rest beside her beloved husband at the Wesleyann Missionary Baptist Church in Apison, Tn., with Jonas Carroll, Quinton Carroll, Riley Gene Redd, Mitchell Carroll, Andy Morgan, Mikey Morgan and Jonathan Morgan honored to serve as pallbearers.
The family will receive friends at Ponders Melrose Chapel from 5-9 p.m. on Thursday and after 9 a.m. Friday, until the service hour.
