Donovan Bain, 64, passed away on Monday, March 18, 2024.

He was a resident of Chattanooga and attended Bartlebaugh Baptist Church. Donovan was a 1977 graduate of Central High School as well as a graduate of Edmondson Business College. He was an avid Tennessee Vols fan. Donovan loved to fish and enjoyed building small houses and miniature scenes. He will be deeply missed.

He was preceded in death by his parents, Melvin and Willie Ruth Bain.

Donovan is survived by his wife, Brenda Bain; sister-in-law, Rhonda Roberts; stepson, Steven J. Richardson (Tamela); stepdaughter, Maggie Laney (Nick); step-grandchildren, Savannah, Eli, Wyatt, Ali, Kia and Jack; furry four-legged baby, Miranda, as well as several special friends.

The family will receive friends on Saturday, March 23, from 11 a.m. – 2 p.m. at Turner Funeral Home at Highway 58. A funeral service will follow at 2 p.m. in the chapel with Brother Marvin Kirkpatrick officiating.

Donovan will be laid to rest in Harrison Cemetery.
