Charles Millirons Joins BrightBridge Capital As CDC Manager

Veteran banker Charles Millirons has joined the team at BrightBridge Capital as their certified development company  manager. Mr. Millirons most recently served as relationship manager with SimplyBank.  

The Chattanooga native received his undergraduate degree from the UTC and his master’s degree from UTK.  Mr. Millirons began his career at a North Georgia regional economic development organization, where he served as the CDC manager and loan officer for its SBA 504 and 7a programs.  After managing all its functions, Mr.
Millirons went into banking and served in commercial lending for nearly 30 years.

The new CDC manager said that he is excited to work with many banking professionals as their partner in aiding businesses in achieving their goals that ultimately impact families and the communities where BrightBridge serves.  “I’ve known this organization and some of its staff for many years and I look forward to what’s ahead.  For over 40 years, BrightBridge has been making a difference for small businesses, entrepreneurs and distressed communities. It’s exciting to join a team that is making such a difference,” he said.

Mr. Millirons and his wife are parents to an adult son, two dogs and several grandpets.  He serves as board chair for Junior Achievement of Chattanooga, board chair for Scottish Rite of Chattanooga and has previously been a Small Business Awards committee member for the Chattanooga Chamber of Commerce.
