City Of East Ridge Hosts 2nd Annual Mother’s Day Tea Party Celebrating Moms

  • Friday, April 19, 2024
The City of East Ridge Parks and Recreation will be hosting their second annual Mother’s Day Tea Party on Saturday, May 11.  This special event, dedicated to celebrating moms of all ages, will be held from 1-3 p.m. at the East Ridge Community Center at 1515 Tombras Ave.  Although admission to the Mother’s Day Tea Party is free, a non-perishable food item for the East Ridge Food Pantry is required for entry.

The Mother’s Day Tea Party will feature several types of teas available for guests to select from in addition to a variety of light snacks, including fruits, vegetables and small sandwiches.  A special photo booth equipped with fun props, such as glasses and boas, will be available to record memories with Mom.

“When first hosting this event in 2023, I had no idea the amount of nostalgia and joy this event would actually bring,” said Hannah Spear, East Ridge Community Center supervisor.  “What a joy it was to celebrate not only my own mother, but the moms that make up our community.
I am so excited to do it again.”

Reservations to the Mother’s Day Tea Party are required as seating is limited. Register here. There will be a waiting list if all spots are filled.

For more information, contact Ms. Spear at 423-486-2034.
