Inaugural Periscope Chattanooga Pitch Night And Artist Entrepreneur Showcase Is May 1

National Small Business Week is observed nationwide April 28 through May 4. Locally, ArtsBuild is actively engaged in Chattanooga Entrepreneur Week by spotlighting the inaugural cohort of artists and entrepreneurs participating in their Periscope program. Since September 2023, 23 artists have been part of the Periscope CHA Artists Entrepreneurial program through Arts Build. The program culminates with a final pitch night on Wednesday, May 1 from 6-9 p.m. at R.I.S.E. Chattanooga, 2901 Taylor St., featuring top six pitch presenters and an Artist Entrepreneur Showcase where each artist will display their creative entrepreneurial pursuits through expo booths.
The pitch presentations will begin at 7 p.m.

The Inaugural Periscope Chattanooga Pitch Night and Artist Entrepreneur Showcase will feature artist expo booths, special presentations from Periscope’s top six Artist Entrepreneurs, live music and food and beverages available for purchase from the locally owned, Windy City Eatz Food Truck.
 
The Periscope CHA program is sponsored by Tennessee Valley Federal Credit Union. Other funders and partners include: Arts & Business Council of Greater Nashville, Benwood Foundation, City of Chattanooga, Office of Arts, Culture, and Creative Economy, Cumulus Media, R.I.S.E. Chattanooga, River City Company, The Howard Fund via the Community Foundation of Greater Chattanooga, The Nancy Lackey Education Fund, Sankofa Civic Engagement Fund, and United Way of Greater Chattanooga.
