  • Wednesday, April 3, 2024
The Chattanooga Fire Department will be in Eastdale this Saturday for the MLK Day of Service. This is a make-up day that was canceled due to inclement weather. This event is a partnership with the Red Cross and The Chattanooga Football Club.

Smoke alarms will be available for pick-up at the community center Saturday morning and you can also request an installation at your home. Firefighters will be going door to door to install smoke alarms in the area.

"Smoke alarms save lives, giving you time to escape in the event of a fire, so it's imperative that Chattanooga residents have working smoke alarms in their homes," officials said.
