Phineus "Phin" Ritchey, affectionately known as Phin, passed away on May 12, 2024, in Port Huron, Michigan, at the age of 19.

Born on Aug. 18, in Chattanooga, he was the cherished son of Anna and Joshua Ritchey and the loving brother of Liberty and Tesla Ritchey.

Phin, the child of two parents serving in the United States Air Force, had the opportunity to live in several locations. Specifically in Colorado, he gained a love for skiing, and in Hawaii, he enjoyed BMX biking, and skateboarding. His final move led him to Port Huron, Mi., where he graduated from Port Huron-Northern High School in 2023. During this time, he balanced his academics with a part-time job he loved, Hungry Howie's, and was a beloved football player. Phin was passionate about gaming and aspired to become a nurse.

He leaves behind a loving family: his parents, Anna (Austin Anspaugh) and Joshua (Jazmin) Ritchey; his sisters, Liberty and Tesla and brother Emerson; his maternal grandparents, Bounpheng and Melonie Chandara; his paternal grandparents, Aaron Ritchey and Kelly Smith; Malisa “Sao” and Uncle Corey Diamond, and Uncle Tommy, and many more aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends who will miss him dearly.

Phin's legacy of kindness, adventure, and free spirit will live on in the hearts of those who knew him. He will be deeply missed but never forgotten.

Funeral services will be held at 1 p.m. on Sunday, May 19, in the Valley View Chapel of Chattanooga Funeral Home.

The family will receive friends from 12–1 p.m. on Sunday, May 19, at the funeral home.
